The day that has seeded a powerful personality in the history of Tamilnadu politics. The day a crusader who has fought a lonely battle and won the might of politicians diseased by the caste system. The day a new star is born. Engal Thangam, Then-naatin Tsunami, Elaikalin Annan, Thenpandi Singam, Maduraiyai Meeta Sundara Pandiyan, Thamilarkalin Veera Vaal, Puratchi Kalaignar Captain Vijayakanth jeythu vitaar!!! Who gives a damn if his political party has lost the other seats, what he has done is unparalleled in the history of Tamil nadu politics.MGR arasiyal katchi arambitha pothu, communist-kal udan kootani vaithu thaan jeychaar..Even he made sure to choose a constituency that would elect him. Every politician in town would do that. But Captain - did the unthinkable! He went single handedly into the PMK (whose idiosyncrasy is well known for stealing film rolls, and kollai purathil kaaiya vita jattis!) belt which is piggybacking on the caste system and has won his seat by more than 13,000 votes! Enna ellam pesinanga..Enna ellam panninanga..Engal Captain-oda motharinga! Thani aala nindru jeychitaaru! Can anyone achieve this feat? Dil iruntha unnoda thalaivan-a un jaathi kootam illatha edathula nika sollu!!Nippara? Tamil murase - Captainku onne onnu kanne kannu-nu nakkal viduriye - un thalaivan-a thaniya kootani podama election-la nikka sollu - nippara?

I am here wanting to be bit cautious to see whether he emerges as a leader or a politician. Lets hope he do things which he says...

Arjuna, yes, I too felt happy for Captain. I really appreciated the way he kept his words and jumpted into the election fray and importantly did not align with any political parties though he might have known that his chances would be better then. It would be good if he continues to remain steafast in his principles of not tie-ing up with anyone. In this election, Vijaykanth has been the real "hero". If ADMK lost or if DMK did not get majority, it is purely because of the advent of Vijaykanth in politics. Hope to see some alternative to DMK and ADMK

Yes vijayakanth proved to be a true captain.. Unlike the other so called "Super Stars" who only make empty statements he proved his capability..
Even MDMK did not win any seat the first time they contested but our captain did..

KrK - I concur with ur views - but if u c - I wuld say to become a leader we can become a politician :) - we can tweak things a bit to become a leader and finally do good to the ppl :)
Neighbour - romba correct-a sonneenga :)..Ennakum etho elections vegu sikiram vanthudumnu thonuthu..But next time Captain will form a kootani - and I think its going to be with ADMK and MDMK - wow that wuld be a great move..and if he gets 20 seats next time - that will be amazing..

Ravi - I feel - its going to take him another 10 yrs to reach the CM post..he still has age..So I think the next step wuld be to form an alliance with ADMK and contest in the next elections - getting a reasonable amount of seats wuld be great..I will write abt it soon :) - lets argue on it :)

yup whatever u say r right but even ur thalavar is targeting naidu's first of all he gave seats maximum to naidu commmunities....then wat right u have to comment on other caste communities....even jayalalitha exploit brahmin's vote do u any brahmin voting kalaignar then no way ....it really says u r a child in politics blindly following vijaykanth...ok wat it is he had done to ppl......u directly...target ramadoss ok ...hes not quiet good politician ....but he has got 20%reservation for backward ppl...struggled for it......u knoe it.....for sake of education he is the 1ly man voicing for student community when even the communists keep mum......so first learn things....without knowing anything dont publish fale informations ok.....
