Amazing picture.. There is a heart warming story behind this 'aalinganam' (hugging)

Once when Rama came before great Rishis, the Rishis who are devoid of any emotion wanted to hug Rama. But, Rama told that only Sita had the right for alinganam in this birth. So, they had to take birth as Gopis during Krishanvataaram to satiate their desire.

But, the only other person Rama is said to have hugged is Sri Anjaneya Swami, Bhaktha Sri Hanuman. This happened when Sri Hanuman came back from Lanka with the good news of seeing Sri Sita - Rama could not speak anything - He was stunned. He could not know how to thank Hanuman. So He called Hanuman near and took him by surprise and hugged Him.

Not a word was spoken between the Master and the Bhakta. There were just tears of Joy and Gratitude.

Of all the Bhaavaas, the devotional Bhaava between Rama and Anjaneya is very heart rendering (for me atleast).

May the Lord shine His Grace to melt our hearts too..
